Residential Demolition

Southern Demolition is experienced with demolishing fire, flood and earthquake damaged homes aswell as assisting property developers to clear sites for a future development. Southern Demolition offers an end to end solution for residential demolitions or tailored offerings to best suit the client and their budget using a collaborate approach. We can manage the whole demolition process or work alongside project managers for the demolition stage of a project.

Process

• Site fencing – Site fencing is required to ensure a secure workplace.
• Asbestos – All demolition projects require an Asbestos Survey to be completed and all Asbestos removed prior demolition works. We can recommend specialists or manage the process for you. Clearance certificates are required prior to demolition beginning.
• Services disconnected – Electricity, sewage, water, gas and any heat pumps need to be disconnected, decommissioned or capped. Power disconnection is required by yourself, with a confirmation certificate supplied. We can disconnect other services on your behalf if required.
• Soft Strip Demolition – If there are any features you would like to salvage within the home we can arrange for these to be removed and returned to you, or you can complete this yourself.
• Hard Shell demolition – Our excavators will clear the buildings marked for removal.
• Waste sorting and clean up – We aim to recycle as many materials as we can from our demolitions. We work with waste providers who assist with our goals.
• Site clearance (optional)– if required we can clear any vegetation, sheds, garages, and pathways from the site. We will leave a track-rolled site on request. Please note if any underground services (pipes) need to be removed, this needs to be requested.
