1st of November 2021, the trickling filters at Christchurch City’s Waste Water Treatment Plant. The trickling filters removed 60% of the organic mater from the waste water entering the facility.

Southern Demolition were engaged to assist the fire emergency services with extinguishing the fire, then engaged again to assist with removing the contaminated waste.

Our excavators were craned into the filters to extract the damaged materials. Our team built two platforms to reach into the filters to remove the organic matter for disposal.
